A great, easy to use external drive with plenty of storage. This is my third time buying a WD external drive and this is by far my favorite. I record a lot of audio and video but it quickly eats up my PC's storage as well as any cloud storage I have, so having this much space to work with is perfect for me!

5TB of portable storage at a great price. Recommend for anyone looking for more storage.

I purchased this portable drive to load Steam games on and port it between several laptop computers. SSD 's for internal use are off the chart as for as prices go. This 5TB is perfect for what I currently need. No issues with running games off the Dell G5, MSI GL65 Leopard, Acer Predator 300,and MSI GE72 Apache Pro laptops I own. I load the games from my Desktop computer to run on whatever laptop I'm using .

This is a great hard drive for being an external one. It’s definitely not the speed of an ssd, but it is a great deal for a 5TB. For large storage for files and others (wouldn’t say games) it’s definitely a steal.

I needed a backup storage and the 5TB external USB 3.0 portable hard drive is just perfect. I have lost files in the past when my old computer crashed. So, I now save pictures and other files on this External Hard Drive. Lots of storage.

This is a great external hard drive. It's fast, small and doesn't seem to heat up.

I have always wanted an external hard drive to prevent against something happening with my physical computer. I hate the idea of losing the thousands of photos I have on my laptop and phone. Thank God I received this hard drive when I did because my Iphone backup got corrupted and I lost al of my information. At least my photos are safe.

Bought this for my 2013 hp pc to alleviate storage situation since we have over 400 gb of pictures, videos and movies. I like it because it is small enough and does not take a lot of space.

Light, low-price, high capacity, portable, seems fast. It's what I needed.

Good price for a 5TB hard drive, plus being small can take it any where when traveling.

Decent compact size. About 4.5 TB of actual usable storage which is plenty especially for the price I paid (on sale for $90). It's a portable HDD and it works as intended. What more can I say.

The drive worked immediately and flawlessly. I have not made any performance measurements, but it seemed distinctly faster than my old WD Passport it is replacing. My interest is in a cost-effective, convenient long-term backup, rather than high performance. But I've only had it a few weeks; only time will tell how long it will last...
