Purchased for PS4Pro. Definitely needed more storage due to the massive installations/updates of today's games such as COD, FFVII, Gran Turismo, Ghost of Tsushima, Last of Us II, etc. Works great the majority of the time. Did have one occurrence where the PS4pro did not recognize the hard drive and appeared corrupted. Properly disconnected the hard drive and restarted the PS4. All games still working fine. Great Value

Bought this for my PS5 after I filled my 2TB hard drive and it works great. I plugged in the drive formatted it and it was ready to use. There's not much to say about it. The only negative thing I would say is that the indicator light on the case can be somewhat annoying in a dark room. When I leave my PS5 in rest mode, downloading games, the light is very bright but a dark piece of tape will fix that.

Plenty of space for backups and quite easy to transport. Careful to prevent drops as it is not a solid state drive (SSD). Also, speedy enough for most tasks.

After searching all over for the perfect external drive for my kids and there 8 million games on the pc, I settled for this. I'll be honest I didn't expect much for the price. It works perfect. The only thing I don't like is it automatically requires a pin for changes. It's not a big deal, I'm lazy and don't like putting it in. It's well worth the price and at 5TB you won't find a much more reliable brand.
