I bought three of these for each of my adult children for Christmas 2020. I wanted my kids to have all the years of family memories which included twenty five years of videos, music and different documents. The process was simple and now my kids have access to whatever they want when we are no longer around. Plus lots of extra memory left over so that can add things as they want.

I bought this to store video captured from my GoPro, and so I can free up storage in my microSD card. This one works well and meet my expectation. The price is good compared to other brand and if you are lucky you can buy it at a discount sometimes at Bestbuy.
I would recommend this to a friend

This will be the third of this size I bought for my wife. She is into digital scrapbooking and stores years of stuff on these. She copies to 2 at a time and has many redundant. In 8 years only had 1 WD go bad, lucky the files were still on her PC. Since than she has multiples of everything.

Solid and dependable drive..USB 3.0, just plug and play, no software install needed. Pretty speedy @5400RPM too. I use it to back up media files and this drive does the job. I own several of these Western Digital drives and I've not had any problems.
