I like this drive as a backup, and i think the size is great! The only thing I found was that the cable included was a little short. Just a comment! Nothing to do with getting the job done!

The WD - Elements 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive has a large storage capacity and yet very compact which comes in very handy and does not take up much space on your computer bag.

Bought this External Hard Drive for the sole purpose of expanding the memory on my XBOX(both 360 and XBox One), and it does just that! Works great, transfers files quickly, and it's fast enough to play the games directly off of the external drive. Simple Plug-N-Play functionality(with provided USB cable), and a quick reformatting, makes the drive very easy to use, as well. No software is provided, or needed, for that matter. Highly recommended for those wanting the add more memory to their gaming system(s), and more. Also, Best Buy puts this particular 1TB model up for a cheap $39.99 from time to time on their Deal Of The Day specials... so, keep an eye out! :)

My ps4 ran out of memory and I look into external hard drives and this one was the best one yet. Easy to install and operate plug into the USB 3.0 slot and that's pretty much it.

I haven't had a good backup system for my laptop, so I decided to get this drive. Plug and play. Decent size. USB 3.0 is reported to be a little faster than 2.0 so that's a plus.

This drive was purchased to backup two daily use laptops and to pass common data files between the home and work. Works great and still is small enough to fit in a pocket.
