This device is very easy to use, compact for storage, and has a great amount of storage for all of my photos and documents.

This is a great storage device in a very compact format!! I have always liked WD products, and this one is no exception!!

First off let me say that I am partial to WD drives, especially the "black" series. Now why this isn't in the black series I have been using these portable hard drives for a while. This one is to finally get ALL of my school/college stuff off of my Macbook Pro so I can put REALLY important stuff on it like music and guitar programs and possible a DAW program. Oh, an I also want to upgrade the OS so I definitely need to back up everything I don't want lost cause ya jes nevah know!

Bought this to backup my photos. Found it very easy to use and its portable size​ save storage space in my kit bag.

Was looking for 500 gb and found this 1 TB hard drive for a better price. It is very light and small. It's fast.

I bought this for my PS4 and it works great! It was easy to format and I got it on sale so what's not to like!

Initially, I purchased the Western Digital hard-drive for backing-up photos, but ended up using on my PlayStation 4 console. When plugging in the drive, a screen prompt appeared saying the hard drive is unreadable, but it still worked without issue. I use it to save games, as the PS4 doesn't provide much memory. The black finish makes the encasing look high-end; The hard-drive is compact and easy to carry. Overall, it was a great deal I couldn't pass.

This external hard drive is small and so very convenient to use with your desktop to backup your computer

I needed a bigger HD for my new MacBook. Couldn't pass on this one. Great quality at a great price point!

Was easy to set up out of the box, Has been hooked up to my router since I got with no cut outs or drops.

I have no complaints. It works flawlessly. Very useful , plenty of storage. Not bulky, easy to carry.

Excellent to add to the PS4 now that the update allows plug and play. Easy to set up and works perfect!

I like the size and the value for the amount of storage you get

I have two computers in different parts of the house. I have all my files stored on an external hard drive next to my main desk top computer. I wanted the same setup with my downstairs laptop. I copied the upstairs external drive to the small WD 1 TB USB 3 unit and it works fine whenever I want to look up something from the past with my laptop. I wouldn't be able to store all that information on the laptop's rather low capacity hard drive.

This unit was purchased solely for the purpose of gaining some extra memory for my XBOX 360... and, it does its job handsomely! Being that it's 3.0, it is fast enough to play saved games straight from the drive on both the XBOX 360 and the XBOX ONE(which requires a 3.0 speed, by the way). I will DEFINITELY be buying another, as my XBOX ONE HDD is now full, as well. :) Thanks WD, for this awesome product!

Excellent deal!!! with large capacity for regular storage of images, files, videos. Not faster compared to other range of available products , but much better for the price paid. Reached my expectations and satisfied!!!
