Great Drive so Far!

I use it on my macbook pro - just reformat it and start using. It seems a little noisier than some other drives I have. Not much, just a little. Also, the cable that comes with it is very short. I love that the WD drive comes with a 3 tear warrantee. I'll give an updte in 3 years to see if it really lasts that long.

Solid portable hard drive

Data transfers quickly and I haven't had any issues. Just make sure you're not disconnecting the hard drive in the middle of writing to it. And make sure you have multiple backups for the truly important things, as even though this has been a reliable hard drive, all drives will eventually fail.
