Let me start by saying have a first wave ps4, with 500GB hard drive. And modern warfare has basically been holding my hard drive hostage for the last year. I’ve had do delete all my games except 1 other because MW’s file is so large. I even had 4 games I hadn’t even opened yet because I could not fit any more with my current 500GB. I wasn’t quite sure how to use an external HD, but with a search on YouTube I found out all I needed to know, and I was set on getting one. I picked this up on sale for $59.99, And so far it’s been worth every penny. I’ve had it for just short of a month now it works perfectly with my system. I’ve got 7 games on it and still have 1.70 TB of free space on it. I will probably never fill this. I only regret not getting it sooner. Side note - You cannot unplug it from the system until you “eject” it from within the system menus. It will risk damaging your files.

Works great, I can store most of the games I play and even a little more. Other than ps5 games

After doing a lot of research I decided to buy the WD and Iam not disappointed.

This is a fairly small package barely thicker than a phone but wider. One thing to note that it can run up to 35 mbps when transferring files from my (slow) Celeron computer with a 7200 rpm hard drive. Likewise it is compatible with the PS 4 but compatibility with the X Box remains to be seen. At two tb this disk drive is fairly sufficient to store 50 video games or lots of photos though there is a much bigger model at 4 tb. Suffice to say 2tb is more than enough for me. And from what I’ve gathered the hdd is non-standard meaning you can’t take it apart and use it on your computer. There’s not much anymore to describe this nice package except that it does the job well and works as advertised. And given the reputation of Western Digital, this hdd is highly recommended for other users as well and is not limited to gamers.

This small but effective hard drive will add a ton of space to your dwindling ps 4 on board memory for a ton of added games that you can quickly access and take with you if you need be. Connecting it is about as easy as it gets and formatting takes seconds. It’s extremely low profile and will not take up much space next to your existing unit.

Overall small and easy to transport. Great amount of storage for the price being as is and is worth the time and money spent purchasing this product I’ve used it for many purposes for gaming and work and it’s so good of a product even started handing these out as gifts.

My son loves it. He uses it for our PS4. It works as intended keeping us from having to constantly delete games to make room for another one. Seems fast enough so no complaints.

Bought it for my ps4! Works like a charm. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to store some games ! The only possible downside with this is the length of the cord. But I personally don’t want a long cord. So there you have it, 5 stars.

Got this for my PS4, since I added the PS Plus plan and can install way more games than the internal drive can hold. Easy setup, works great.

Such a great amount of memory on a small device. This will not take up much of any space in your gaming area, and was a great price. Easy to hook up and use.

Honestly a pretty great hard drive. Easy to install, the instructions walk you through the process, and the amount of space it offers is just amazing for the price of it. If I had any sort of gripe it would be wishing that the cord was just a tad longer, but honestly that's not enough to dock it any points.

I kept getting the dreaded "no space to download" message on my PS4 despite having over 80GB free. I did my research and found it to be a software issue that sony apparently refuses to fix. So i needed a quick, cheaper, easy option to keep growing my game collection. All you do is plug this in, it's designed for PS4. Worked like a charm. I moved all my disc based games data over and now have TONS of space on the hard drive. Does not require external power, it just plugs in via USB so i advise unplugging it when not in use to extend it's life. Great value for the price.

I own a lot of games and I have always wanted to have them all installed so whenever I felt like playing one of them I could. With this external Hard Drive, I am able to do that. The design is slick and good looking, the performance is great, plus, there is no lag when playing a game from the EHD in the PS4.
