The capacity is too small for many home use applications, and won't do for music and movies, but is great, cheap alternative for business laptops and computers, or point of sales terminals. Western Digital drives have a history of reliability in my experience and in the short time I have had two of these in terminals, they have been more reliable then the drives they replaced. If you have any doubt on if it will have enough room, get a bigger drive. This one won't store much.

Got a laptop from online auction site , the hard drive was removed. this hard drive plugged in and worked from the start.

Old harddrive went bad for the 2nd time; easy to replace. Not so easy to reconfigure...thanks HP :-(. Anyway, performs as expected, no complaints.

The previous hard drive in the laptop had crashed and needed to be replaced. So far this new hard drive is working great, no problems to report.

Bought this for my Father in-Laws Laptop. Works great, comparable to OEM, and the price is acceptable. It does what it is supposed to do.

Decent drive for the price. After installing the drive works well but have ran into a few performance issues and heavy disk writes.

replacing the hard drive in one of our computers was great. the computer is up and running with no problems.

I bought this WD 320 HD to replace my HD in my PS3, which had gone bad. This HD is very easy to install, just have to remove the blue screw on the bottom of my PS3, pop out the HD, remove four tiny screws from the mounting bracket, and install the new HD. Replace the screws, and done in a matter of minutes! It ran like a champ, just had to format it. If you're not sure how to do this, just look on youtube for videos on replacing the HD on PS3. It's very easy to do!
