this is a nice solid drive at a great price point. You can't beat 1.5 terabytes for about 60 dollars. It's small and compact and allows me to take all my music on the go.

320Gb internal hd from western digital. Installed in about 15 minutes and has been working like a dream, as I have come to expect from western digital over the years.

Good HDD. Nothing really special or bad about it as it's a pretty standard product. I will say however that if you can afford it, or if you can live with a smaller disk drive, solid state drives are the way to go, or even hybrids. They are remarkably faster. Comparing this HDD to my SSD, SSD load time of windows is under 30 seconds (Windows XP) whereas the HDD loads in about 2 minutes (Windows XP). I used this drive to supplement my SSD drive. I have Windows installed on my SSD drive, allowing for faster load times, and all my music and movies on the larger capacity HDD. Very nice setup.

Took my sisters computer to get it cleaned and back up and they did the next week. The computer itself is old, held some hidden virus that damaged the original hard drive, they were able to save all my files and re upload all my software.

The hard drive on my old laptop died and I needed a new one. I thought the best place to get a deal was to look on Amazon. I found one that matched what I needed but I had problems installing it. I finally sent it back and got a refund and went to Best Buy to get a new one and have them install it. The real surprise was that the one I bought at Best Buy ended up being $2.00 cheaper than the online purchase and it was right there in the store and worked perfectly. Next time I'll check in the store before I waste time and money looking for the best price online.

I wanted to upgrade my PS3 hard drive from the stock 160GB. This was a good price at the time and I just wanted to double the size, since I also have a PS4.. works well.
