    Bought this as a replacement for a mid 2009 iMac's HDD which crashed. Required an additional 'convertor' cable because the original apple sourced Hitachi deskstar had some weird propriety cable for it's heat sensor. Installed per instructions on iFixit.com. And all good.

    Hard drive was failing and this was purchased as a replacement. I was amazed how much prices have dropped. It served the purpose and I recovered/restored everything from the failing drive.

    The service was great, however I had to take my computer back the next day because Microsoft was not supportive of Windows 7. Best Buy connected my computer to Fox Fire which works but I am not happy with it. Recommended buy a new computer. I am giving some thought to that..

    Great that an associate was able to order what was not on the shelf and send to my home! Still the same exact part needed too. I still go to Best Buy for these requirements to be exact!
