Needed more space for my Xbox One games this did the trick. Now I have room for more digital games.

I have had a bunch of these in the past, ungrading for larger capacity. I did have an issue where my router (netgear) didn't see the drive and netgear told me it wasn't compatible, however I formatted the drive using windows 8 drive utilities, gave it a drive letter and now I have 3tb of network storage.

Easy to use and big enough to store my entire Desk Top Computer.

I've run into this with other drives. I plug the drive into the USB port, the connection tone sounds, and all indications are that the system sees it, but it doesn't assign a drive letter. Once I used a drive management program to manually give the drive a letter, it performed fine.

Installed as a back up for my desktop computer. It's small and doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk.

Using GUI Format I made this 4TB Hard drive work with my PS3. I use it for my movie collection and needed to upgrade from the 2TB I was using that kept stopping while in the middle of watching shows.This hard drive seems to be very fast.

Has been working well since i purchased it, but I have one gripe. The backup software it comes with doesn't give you an option to do a exact copy as a backup. It condenses it into it's own files. That could be a problem if you have a complete system failure, or if you want to access files that you've saved. I use it to backup photos and video, so i'd like to just copy the folders exactly, but no go with this software.

I got this to use in my Xbox One and it worked flawlessly. Plugged it in and formatted instantly and seems to have improved my load times also. From now on I will only purchase digital and quit waiting in line to get new releases.

Too early to tell but basic performance is okay. Will know after an additional period of time if storage and speed will meet standard needs.

This WD 4TB External HD was an actual life save. I have several critical work and personal files on my computer that I needed to back up. This external/portable hard drive did the trick and is working like a charm. Great product!

This is my 3rd Western Digital external hard drive. All of them are still in use and function very well. I have 1TB, 3TB and now the largest at 4TB. Hopefully they will all continue to work well and provide me with the space I need for pictures, music, family and dance videos.

A little slow but a good drive so far. Compact,good connections.

Good choice for external unit but someone's going to eventually come up with a USB connector that doesn't eventually wear out.

I recently needed to archive some data and instead of using one or 2 drives I went ahead and purchased this to keep all of my data. Quick and easy to set up. No issues using Windows 10 and Surface Pro 4
