I have had this over a year now and it's constantly backing up my main computer. I haven't had the need to check if the backup is any good but hopefully it will do it's job if I ever have a disk failure

Great product, great storage for reasonable price.

Very quiet and easy to install. However my first unit crashed. Not sure if it was a bad hard drive or the transfer took too long because I was running USB 2.0 and the system would stall. The second unit is working fine. I like the small light that isn't as obstructive as the other ones. The larger LED light at night it can be bothersome.

Backup the system or wait till you lose all your data when the hard drive has a sudden failure. This device may save your job, data life, or hours of sleepless nights, for just a few pennies a week.

Not much to say, its a large hard drive and it does that job well. I included usb 3.0 as a downfall, cus it doesn't matter, nothing really uses 3.0 yet, but i imagine that will all change as all things do.

I would highly recommend this drive for a good data drive or backup drive. It works flawlessly and is very fast. I get about 130 mb/s constant transfer speed when moving large files over (media library).

This makes my 7th one of these drives and they all have worked flawlessly. 3.0 transfer speeds are a definite improvement over the earlier 2.0 ones.

I'm constantly writing new material for my books and screenplays. This allows me to back everything up without fear of loosing my work to some glitch or other nasty little computer bug.

Very good product. I purchased it to use as time machine for my Mac. So far no problems, set up was a piece of cake, and it is super quiet compared to some of the other drives I have had. I would recommend to anyone needing a good back up drive.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. Love it! He is using it for his XBOXONE storage instead of maxing out on his internal hard drive. It was an easy plug and set up.
