I've had issues with files being lost or moved, directories disappearing, etc. It seems to be related to an issue with the file allocation table that formatting doesn't remediate..

My book / my cloud

I purchased this drive & ended up trading it in for the my cloud version. I love the my cloud & am glad I returned this one & spent the extra money on the other one (and got more storage for not much more)
