I really wanted something to run a plex server but sadly got the wrong thing. Logging into the HD is easy, UI is user friendly (but it's no mac obviously), and it gives you a lot of space at a good price point. It will broadcast so if you have wireless TV's it will detect your hard-drive and you can watch videos on your hard drive that way, but it's not a flashy interface.... it's just folders and titles with a screenshot of the movies. Overall I'm satisfied with it for the thing I need it for.

very fast external drive. has lots and lots of space

I bought this external hard drive a few weeks ago to add additional space to my Xbox One, which was at about 75% full. After formatting the drive with the system I am now at about 7%. The only annoying thing is that the drive indicator light blinks constantly when it is on standby (the system is off). I could turn the light off in the settings but than I wouldn't know when the drive is being used.

I was iffy on buying this brand at first because I had another experience with this brand where the hard drive crashed and I lost all my data. I am using this current one with my Xbox and it has so much room for my games and it's data. Love it!

I have 4 WD hard drives and I have no complaints about any of them. This 4TB HD is just as good as my others. I plan on buying the 6TB version once that drops to the current price of this one.

Currently using it with a Raspberry Pi running Raspbmc and it works perfectly! A great value for the money, I feel like 4 TB will last me a while! Definitely recommended.

The first one I got was a 2 tb, so I got this one as a backup. I've never had any problems with this brand. I do use an extender for my USB so I don't have to worry about it being yanked out when I use my laptop.

I've had the best success with western digital hard drives. I own 3TB, 4TB, and 6TB externals and three 4TB Black edition drives and have had zero issues.

Who would have thought of 4TB at this price. I am using this drive as a mirror drive with Carbonite. Their suggestion was to use two external hard drives and store one offsite or in a fireproof safe.

In comparison to a standard external hard drive for use on the go, this product has the potential to do just that beyond being stationary on your desk. I dont see why a hybrid of sorts could be made with this products capability and functionality in mind. Nevertheless, I recommend. Thanks BB for the sale as well.

We purchased this for a great sale price based on the positive reviews. So far we are very pleased with the use and performance of it. We have had for about a month now.

This has proven to be a great way to store all of my movies and get them off of my laptop. I wish it was a little smaller...

I was pretty much out of space now I wont be complaining about space 4 tb all you have to do is plug it in an format it so you can have more space on the xbox 1

This WD hard drive combines capacity with a fair price. WD has one of the best reputations for reliability today. The inclusion of Acronis software is a bonus and will allow full system backup to help in case of future tragedy. I was so impressed with the software that I actually spent money for the full version after using the software included with the drive.

Works right out of the box. Love the WD software which came with this hard drive lots of nice features. 5 Stars all the way.

Bought this for my Xbox One(Day One Edition) only had 20 GB left on my 500GB internal hard drive the 4TB external Hard Drive is the best thing I ever bought for my Xbox One ! I wont have to worry about running out of space for a very long time ! I also bought some clear 3M Velcro straps that can hold up to 10 pounds at Walmart hardware department so it's mounted on the left top rear of the console so it doesn't go anywhere I recommend doing this looks neater plus if you have kids they can't mess with it .

I was going to get the My Cloud but the bad reviews swayed me to just go for this one. After testing it with my netgear nighthawk router I can say yes, this drive is a great drive to use as NAS - just plug it up to your router and you won't have any trouble sharing files on a network and streaming video! Very pleased
