Large capacity for a good price, I got mine for $135. This hard drive does not have any network connection capabilities and is just a basic external hard drive which fits my needs perfectly for backing up files.

WD always dependable, lots of space at a great price

Small in size ,but huge in the storage area. will take me a very long time to fill this unit up,weather with pictures, video clips, TV shows or movies. Great for all of my computer back up needs. Western Digital is the is the name I go with in storage.

have hook up on xbox one and it works great and games load fast off of it and its pretty quiet would deffently recommend if u need more storage space on your xbox one

Now own five of these excellent hard drives (of varying capacities). They are easy to install (I hope everyone reads the instructions for the first installation, then you need never do it again!). Plug the data cable into the drive and into a USB 3.0 port (it will work in a USB 2.0 port, but you will lose some speed). Plug the electrical cord into the drive, then into a power sourse. I always use a buffered or otherwise protected power sourse. WINDOWS (I use WIN 7) does the rest. I am please with this and all of the WB My Book drives I have purched.

Picked this up for use with Xbox one. Installation was easy...simply plug one end of usb 3.0 cord into the hard drive, one end into the Xbox one, plug in the power cord and you are good to go. Works faster than the stock Xbox one drive, is super quite, and I got the 4gb version for a great price. Highly recommended!!

I use external hard drive storage units for everything that I don't want to lose if my computer hard drive freezes. I also love them because they allow me to free up space on my internal hard drive. While I've had a couple break down, the information on them can be salvaged with no loss of regular computer usage.,

This is a 4TB external HDD. Nothing to get too excited over, it simply gives you another 4TB of storage. I bought this as my 27" iMac has a 512GB SSD. I run all my programs and VMs off of the internal storage, and then I store my photos, movies, music, and other videos on the 4TB External HDD. I've only had it for a few weeks but it does well for what it is. If you are using it with a Mac, you will need to reformat it to either the HFS or ExFAT file systems- otherwise you won't be able to write to the drive, only read as the drive comes formatted with the NTFS file system. ExFat is probably your best option if you ever want to be able to plug it into a Windows PC to read data.

I was very pleased with my purchase of this external hard drive. I used it for a while for only backing up my computer but then I learned that I could hook it up to my router and use it as a network drive! Awesome purchase and no faults or bugs!

Good external HD with USB 3.0 speed. Its easy to use and works well with any network setup to share files and media.

Fantastic to save my videos from old VCR tapes. I don't want to risk those old tapes tearing and loosing all my precious memories of all my grand kids so I highly recommend it to anyone that has their memories stored on VCR tapes. Very user friendly

It is always not easy to choose between a portable external harddrive, which is usually more expensive per GB, and a desktop one, which needs AC power. Having bought a few WD portable drives and have this as my first desktop drive, I am pretty happy with the product and its cost. Altough it is a desktop drive, it is in a nice small box that does not look big, and the transfer speed is good. Performance pretty good so far and stable. Hope it is also long lasting.

I bought this to add it to my Xbox One. The drive works great to store all my games and runs faster than the internal drive. The only compliant I have is when the Xbox One is off the HD light blinks. Not a big deal, some tape or as I did just turned the HD as to not have the blinking LED visible. I bought this on sale and with 4TB I'll have storage space for a long time.

This drive is attached to my WD My Cloud NAS and gives me additional capacity. It is quiet and somewhat fast.

I purchased this drive to attach to my router and serve as storage for my movie collection. I have an Airport Exteme(2007) and it works great with this drive. I can access it from Finder and Back to my Mac. Its great. I am going to buy another to contain my software. I may even buy one for Time Machine backups.
