I have purchased 4 of these to use for additional storage. They are priced right and seem to be reliable. I have not had any issues. I would recommend and purchase again.

I bought this to expand the memory of my Xbox one. I've had no issues with this so far. It was easy to set up, basically just plug and play. The games and apps that are saved to it load quickly. If you are looking to expand your memory on either your gaming console or just you home pc this external hard drive is a great buy.

Purchased this backup drive to replace another brand that had stopped working. This drive was very easy to set-up...just plugged it in and I've got backups happening on my schedule. Good price for lots of extra room!

The WD - My Book 4TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive I purchased replaced a Seagate Wireless 3TB. It has proven to be much easier to install, more secure, more reliable, and and even has 1GB more space. The USB 3.9 connection is extremely fast and plays video without a stutter.

Picked this one up for my Xbox One based on reviews and it certainly doesn't disappoint. It's massive size serves it well and opens up great opportunities for game storage. It's a necessity for any Xbox One owner

What can I say it's a drive and it works. The true test is time, but after a month no problems (knock on wood). I've been using it with my Philips DVR which had to reformat to use and had no problems doing so.

The external hard drive is simple to set up to my pc. I use this device primarily for storing my digital photos. There has been no problem with this external storage unit since it was installed two months ago. I would recommend this device if you need additional external storage.

I didn't need the features like password protection and encryption so I haven't tried those. This is a backup for my home PC, and I use the free software called EaseUS Todo backup with it. The large capacity of this drive allows me to store plenty of history of backups.

I buy Western Digital drives in confidence that they will hold my precious data and allow me the piece of mind that my information is secure. While no magnetic media is perfect, Western Digital is as good as they get. Fast speeds and works great with my MacBook Pro.

It was purchased for storage expansion for my sons Xbox one. It was super easy to install and works flawlessly. It comes with a 2 year warranty as apposed to the competions 1 year. would highly recommend!

I love Western Digital External Hard Drives...I bought the 4TB for the space, and it really isn't that big...so it's almost as portable as the passports....this is my 2nd one....will take much longer to fill this one up....but both WD have worked great for me....

One of my four external hard drives is a three year old Seagate. Most reviews indicate the Seagate drive typically fails before the third year. I have two WD drives and have been very happy with reliability, included software and ease of initial setup. This 4TB WD drive was purchased to backup my existing Seagate drive. Backup was completed and now when the Seagate fails I will not loose any data.

Works very well with the Xbox One. I have probably 25 Xbox One games installed onto the hard drive and it only takes up like 17% of it. Definitely gonna come in handy when more and bigger games come out.

I bought two of these for my college student sons. So far they are working just fine. I have two older WD external drives that I've had for 7+ years and they are still running like new. Great products.

I got this HD on a great sale during the Black Friday week. I needed more storage space on my Xbox One as it doesn't take much to fill up the 500GB HD. 4 TB has been wonderful to have, now I no longer have to give it a second thought to download a new game.

A nice fast drive with No issues! I have 8 WD external HDs - great workhorses - just hook it up and it runs! I'm a photographer and raw file sizes can be large - I always back up to 2 external hard drives plus make a DVD copy. I'm also a genealogist and have scanned hundreds of pictures; the new larger HD make it easier to keep everything in the same place. Knock on wood, I have never had a failure. I am running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 64-bit. I use both 3.0 and 2.0 connectivity, depending on the computer I hook these up to. I don't use the included backup software - would rather drag and drop files & folders I use these drives primary as HD media storage, accessing them directly through USB and my home network

4T for the price works well for a home network. plenty of space and easy to setup

This large capacity dive works great for backups and storing large amounts of data. It is fast, quiet and easy to setup. The price is great for a drive of this size.
