I got this to hook up to my Roku box and it has worked beautifully. Note - if you are doing the same, this size (4T) will only work on the Roku 3. A Roku 2 will only read up to a 2T drive. Took some trial and error to figure that out! I always trust WD products.

I have looked at dozens of hard drives and this one was the best for the money. Plenty of space and connects right away. Bought two of them and hooked one up to my Xbox one and works great and for much cheaper than the advertised xbox one external drives.

Western digital is my preferred brand of data storage. The price on this hard drive is very competitive to other options and while slightly more costly than other competing brands, not to be mentioned, WD is by far more reliable and excellent in performance!

I have bought two of these, and they are both very dependable. Have not had any issues out of either one, and they are used daily. I have one as an external for a Macbook Pro, as well as one for added storage on an Xbox One. Works beautifully on both.

No surprises here, it just works. Runs fairly quiet and gives plenty of space.

I bought this to attach to my XBOX One since I purchase games and download them. I moved everything onto this drive and still have plenty of room for more. I Highly recommend this for gamers!

I like the design and reliability that come with WD storage. Every hard drive will fail, it is inevitable and a matter of when, not if. This is my second 4tb WD drive and so far so good. The first one has been in operation for over a year with no issues.

Should have bought a long time ago to expand our xbox capacity. Now I want one for my home computer. Easy to set up and use and great price for 4 TB!

I hooked this up to my airport extreme and it has performed wonderfully. I'm able to back up all Apple products with zero effort. The setup was super easy and everything happens in the background. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I needed one for my MacBook Air but only found a Windows version. It was really easy to convert and set up. Why? Because Apple does everything for you and Western Digital has always put out a great product. I have always bought from this company.

This hard drive had plenty of space for both your Back-up and other items you want saved, such as your I-Tune library, which is what I am using my WD - My Book 4TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive for.

The WD external harddrive works as expected. It was very easy to set up. I am using it to transfer my movied that I recorded on the Dish DVR. It works as it should. I will see how ilong it works.

I bought this to expand my storage limit for my Xbox One. I plugged it in, my Xbox detected it right away. I formatted it and now I'm installing games like a mad man! Best purchase in a long time.

Never had a WD drive die on me. Incidentally, this drive was purchased to replace one of equal size made by Seagate that died within two years of purchase. My track record consists of three Seagates that bit the dust and no Western Digital has died yet!

I purchased this to add more storage for my xbox one and it works perfect. Plug it in and the xbox reformatted the drive and it worked. Nothing else needed

This drive was a great price for the amount of storage. It was easy to setup and already formatted for PC. The USB 3.0 has a fast transfer rate. The software it came with was great for securing it but backing up and transfers using the software seems sluggish.

I picked this up with some BB gift cards I got for Christmas a while back. I bought it to extend the space of my xbox one and it does the job. The device plugs into one of the xbox's USB ports. Now only if PS4 would support External drives....

I'm using this to stream my media so pretty much my review can be taken with a grain of salt as far as how much punishment this thing can take. However I can say I can stream to two different players without a hiccup. It's excellent for my purpose.
