Finally have storage space on my Xbox One. Good read/write times for a game console and plenty of space now.

Portable, 4tb and reliable. Really what more needs to be said? I took all of the backup software off of it and use it for a clone of my photography drive.

I have two terribly small hard drives on my laptop that is a few years old. I was able to make a back up of almost everything without using up a tera.

This HD is an absolute must for anyone who has a growing music, movie, or photo collection. And, for a HD that sits on your desk, it looks pretty slick.

Bought on Black Friday 2015. Use it for backing up files and also Time Machine my mac. No issues, just need to reformat for Mac right out of the box.

Just purchased for light access and backups. Speedier than the old drives and big enough to handle everything. Not the fastest but it surves its purpose.

Recently bought the Sony ES htz1 high res music server. This piece is incredible but only comes with a 4tb hard drive. It accepts an external hard drive and I filled this 4tb external drive with fantastic sounding high res files plus other great music.

Any one who owns an Xbox One needs additional storage and this has so much storage and no delay in download !

Have purchased these drives over the last years and as a professional imaging maker I have come to rely on these for backing up my motion imaging.

The unit is used to transfer a host of media files from multiple drives to this unit. It works flawlessly. The price was very reasonable for 4 TB.

I use this hard drive for my xbox one and it has lots of space and I can see an increase in the load times for my games versus the internal hard drive. 4TB for 129 is a no brainer. Good price for a good external HD. Only con is that when the xbox powers off the hard drive blinks constantly. It's a small white light that's not bright so it's not all that bothersome.

If you buy this product from Best Buy you should buy it with the plastic wrap still on the package. I know it sounds like common sense, but if all the boxes are missing the plastic, then one would assume that's the way it comes. If the plastic is missing then the product has most likely been returned. I found out the hard way. I had to make 4 trips to the store. The first box I purchased was missing the USB cable. Best Buy was kind enough to let me exchange it. The next 2 I purchased would not power up. I spent 2 nights convinced that I was doing something wrong. I was about to switch to a different product, but decided I'd try one last time. When I got to the store the first thing I noticed was that in the latest shipment, all of the boxes were shrink wrapped (the previous 3 were not). From there, I decided to go over and see the Geek Squad. I asked them to plug in the old hard drive and the new one I was about to get. Immediately they realized that the hard drive I was returning had been tampered with. Apparently people will purchase the product just to open it up, steal components out of it, then return it. Best Buys then just puts in back on the shelf for someone else to deal with. My issue is not with the product. It has worked great for my Xbox One. My issue is not with the Geek Squad. They were able to figure out the problem within minutes. My issue is with Best Buy putting damaged goods back on the shelves for someone else to buy. And after 4 trips to the store, instead of receiving an apology, they would rather laugh it off about how messed up some people are. My only hope is that the 3 inoperable hard drives I exchanged were not put back on the shelf for some other innocent person to buy.

I have a lot of pictures and videos in my desk top and my computer is getting slow, with this product I can safely store my videos and pictures .

I bought this back up storage because so I could take everything off of my computers so they can run faster. Work great and more than enough storage.

I bought this for my xbox one. It was a quick set up as my Xbox found it no problem. I have over 59 games on it and it still is under 20% used.

I needed extra space for apps, games and the upcoming DVR services for my Xbox One so this massive external drive was a great buy for the sale price I purchased it for at the time. The only real negative is that it requires an A/C outlet for power unlike some of its smaller counterparts which only require a USB port. That being said, I believe all external hard drives of that size will require an A/C outlet. Simple plug and play technology.

Mac user, works great! You need to download the software first, as it only comes with PC software.

By the time I had not problems with the hard drive. It works fine. The only drawback. It is the automatic backup software, which often fails lot.
