I have several HD's from Western Digital. They always perform well and are very reliable.

Replaced a 2Tb drive with this one to backup a ReadyNAS. Original drive had worked fine but I needed more storage. So far so good.

I work with western digital drives for long time now They are usually reliable and fast I myself prefer them on the segate ones

I needed to get a device that would hold my backs ups that are spread out between 3 devices. This was easy, and did the job!

This 4TB external drive hosts all of my ripped videos and a mirrored copy of all of my home pics/vids. I'm very happy with it.

I am using this external hard drive for my Xbox One. You cant beat the price and its great to have 4tb of space to save data on!

I purchased this drive to house all my iTunes media on a Mac. I did have to format the drive for Mac vs PC, but that was a simple process. Once it was formatted, it took a few days to transfer data from my network drive, which was expected. The performance of this drive with the media is so much faster than the network drive, and I am only using USB 2.0, not the 3.0 it is capable of. I have no complaints about this drive, and I have multiple large WD drives throughout my home, and trust the brand for reliability.

I use it to backup a server and works great. If you are in the market for a HDD like this one, this is the one that you need.

This hard drive is great for the price, upgrades internal load speeds and overall space. About the size of a wii console though and needs the adapter to be independently plugged in. All in all good product though!

As the mother of a toddler I take a lot of pictures. The my book made it so easy for me to know where all my pictures were and not have to keep them on my phone.

This external drive and included software makes it easy to backup all of our home computers, and the USB 3.0 interface helps it do it quickly. Then I can easily take the drive to my office for an offsite backup.

Bought it for my Xbox one as I only had a 500gb console this thing is fast no noise at all and 4TB is perfect for anything

Works great. Cost per TB matched online prices without having to wait for free or paying for shipping. Rather pay a few dollars more & tax to a box store if there are any problems. Wish WD had a on/off switch.

I needed more backup externally than I already had. I just hope this product is more durable than another I had which failed. I back every thing up and often. My PC was hit with a file blocker called CRYPTO LOCKER which holds all your files for ransom. Who would be silly enough to pay those guys money and see what other damage they would do to your credit. It took time but I cleaned out all my files. Then reloaded from the external hard drive. If you don't have one I suggest that you get one soon.

Haven't got to use it a lot but it has function as expected so far. Great deal on sale for $99. I use it for my Xbox one.

USB 3, great price for capacity and very reliable.

Good storage for the price. I don't know if I like the set up with this drive. It wants to use software that comes with the drive instead of a normal drag and drop method that you would do with a flash drive.

I have had no problems, love the extra storage space it provides, and it is very quick transferring files to and from my PC.

I bought this to backup desktop computer! It is a great size and super value!!
