Great speed downloading and uploading, LOTS of storage, quiet and sleek looking

I remember purchasing a 500GB WD My Book several years ago that cost more than this 4 TB! I purchased this to expand my ever-growing library of files, pictures, movies, etc. It was easy to set-up, even on a Mac. You simply plug it in and go. This is a great external hard drive to expand your storage space.

The drive is excellent, easy to use, tonne of storage and at a great price.

Has tons of space to keep all of your files. Runs quiet and loads quick.

I have been looking for an external drive for my 500 GB XBox One and found this one. My Book works great with the xbox. It was simple to setup My Book as a storage for Games and Apps. With USB 3.0 the games stored on My Book launch almost instanty, faster then if the game was stored on the internal drive. $129 for 4 TB is really worth it. I am very happy with this product.

Needed to expand my xbox one memory and researched everywhere online for the best external HD. After reading many reviews i came into conclusion with the Western Digital MyBook, beside the awesome price i got at best buy it works lie a charm and very easy step by step setup, just plug in n play!

I bought this hard drive after reading a couple of articles on which external hd would work best for game storage on an XBox One. This hd is fast using USB 3.0 and increased my storage capacity quite a bit. Downloads have been snappy and I had no problems hooking it up. Plug in the power source, plug into the console, a quick configuration, and everything is golden.

I got this for my xbox one as additional storage. I was up and running in about 3 minutes. The packaging was minimal and set up was simply plug and play. It does require external power but the only set up is plugging it into the outlet and plugging the data cable into the device (in my case an xbox one). So simple and a lot of storage for the price. Highly recommended.

I bought this as an external card drive for my Xbox one. It is awesome!!! I save everything to it and it holds every game I have. There is no speed issues at all when trying to play my games. I am going to buy a second one for my second Xbox one.

I have purchased three of the My Books now. it seems that the world requires more and more computing storage and keeping it all together becomes more and more of a challenge. My Book helps me to do this. I especially want to keep track of the photos I take for family and business. My Book is convenient and simple to use. It is also good for backing my whole computer.

External hard drive has plenty of storage and is very easy to use.

This drives makes that easy and fast. Back up important files. You will feel better about life with your data easily and quickly safely backed up on a this excellent hard drive.

This product has made life so much better. Besides signing up for a Dropbox account and changing settings, it was a hands free, extremely easy, self explanatory device. It made getting a new computer with my old information a breeze, and it makes backing up my new computer even more simple. This is a must have device for a fail safe to computers.

Large capacity for movies and photos. Easy to use and very quiet.

I was looking for a bigger storage since my last one, (320GB) was pretty small and used up. Luckily this HDD was on sale on Black Friday and managed to buy this at a good price. 4TB is plenty for me to store all my media and still have about 3TB of space left!! Also, I trust the Western Digital brand so this is what drove me to buy this HDD.

As the summary says, this is a very nice drive for what I needed. I was looking for a large amount of space. It's not the speediest, but on the other hand, my computer isn't either. So I really can't say that the drive is slow. I haven't run any tests on it, but it meets my primary criteria: It works and well. It's reasonably quiet as well.

I purchased this to use along with my xBox One instead of using the internal, permanent HD that comes with the system. Works seamlessly and without delay. Provides a MASSIVE amount of storage which is good since the xBox One only had 500 gigs. I highly recommend this hard drive If you're looking for more storage instead of the system standard.

Very quiet , lots of space and seems to work flawlessly.

This hard drive was purchased as additional storage for our Xbox One. After reading reviews online this seemed to be a good balance of additional space and a good value. Setup was flawless, even for someone as technologically inept as myself. The Xbox recognized and formatted it immediately. Data transfer works exactly as expected.

The My Book is very easy to use & stores all my photos.
