I picked this up for my Xbox One, and i have to say it's a great purchace. I've got about 20 games downloaded to the external and I'm still around 17% space taken up.

Anyone who uses this product can see it's simple, and effective. Even not so tech-savvy people will understand how to use it. For me it was purchased to have backup storage in case something were to happen to my computer. It was a fair price for the investment.

I bought this for back up storage for an Apple computer, after reformatting it for an Apple it works flawlessly! It comes with the software to do this and was simple. You can never go wrong with a WD. Mac Mini Late 2012.

My Book works perfectly great with my Xbox ONE and gives me more than enough space for digital games. Easy to set up and use.

Plug it into the wall and into a USB port and it's good to go. I deleted all the factory installed software for maximum space. I use it to backup my music, movies, and picture files. It's about half full and no problems yet.

Love this external hard-drive. It holds all my pics and video for backup and editing. I have nothing bad to say. A great purchase and more than enough storage. Solid performer. Easy setup and usage is for the novice.

A recent Windows upgrade left my PC unbootable, and my recovery tools were less effective than I had planned. After two weeks of creative effort, my system was back to a functional state--with a more robust backup strategy that includes Acronis True Image backups to this capacious external drive, linked to my PC using USB 3.0. The daily differential backups are efficient, and the drive works in silence. Setup was quick and easy, and the price was competitive. Lesson learned.

A seamless external drive for my system. Plugged it in and it worked:-) I store many hours of home movies on it and they play just fine from the external drive.

I searched every website to find the best deal on a hard drive to work with the xbox one. This was the best price per gigabyte and it rocks. I have noticed absolutely no lag in any game installed on the drive.

I bought this drive to add storage space to my Xbox One. It works great and there is no lag. The Xbox One immediately recognized it and setup was very easy. Only one or two questions. It is so quiet that I dont even know it is there. Thank you to Best Buy for making your price match so easy. I saved an additional $30 on this purchase.

I have several WD hard drive that have performed well through out the years. I like the fact that this hard drive has a large 4TB capacity for my movie and music files and has the new USB 3.0 for a faster transfer speed.

I can't complain about this hard drive, it does the job impeccably. I've been using WD hard drives for a while now, and thus far they haven't failed. I buy them for my own, and i've buy them as gifts. great product.

My primary purpose of 4tb Drive was for backup of 3tb data. It's quiet and reliable till now. Let's hope it will keep me happy for coming years.. all my drives are WD and no failure till date for past 6 years.

I have bought other external WD HDD drives and have had no issues with any of them. This one has USB 3.0 support so plus there. I did feel the software is kind of bloated but does the job for my storage needs.

I last bought a 2TB WD HD thinking that would last me a while, but as we frequently record videos of concerts, we find that got eaten up more rapidly than we would have liked. So WD comes out with a spacious, roomy 4TB HD which is the right size for a non-professional, the housing is very compact and I am thrilled! Great job, Western Digital. I will continue to purchase your well made products!

Works great wiyh my xbox one seamlessly download and play games just like the internal drive and the 4tb is perfect

I am using this product just for hooking up to my Xbox One to be able to store more games for it. It works great! Plenty of storage and with no delay for trying to access the games that are stored on it.

Xbox One was 96% full Transferred all that and added 30 plus other games/apps...to this and it is still less than 20% full. Makes the Xbox One better...and would be awesome backup for anything else.

I've been using WD drives almost exclusively for years. Great transfer speeds and reliable drive. I've had good luck with these external drives. They're inexpensive and easy to use to back up everything.

This WD external has been great! I've had by it for almost 6 months, and have had no problems or issues with it at all. After having two Seagates in a row crash constantly to finally fail within the first 5 months, this little guy has been awesome. It's not big or bulky, and the design is pleasing, so it looks fine sitting out. The fast USB is just that.... fast. There's very little, if any, lag when using the external. Another thing I love about it, is that it's QUIET. You'd never even know it's there. All in all, I've been more than happy with this purchase.
