Really a great price on a large drive. Needed something to store and backup my growing photo and video collection. This was very easy to setup for my Mac.

I have never had any problems with Western Digital products. I tried a competitors external hard drive and was not happy with the length of time it takes for the drive to boot up. Plus I never know if something is wrong with the drive. The external drives I buy from Western Digital are very good. I use this drive to store videos off the main server I have and can always put the videos back in a short time.

I purchased this hard drive to use with my Xbox One. It's been great and hasn't had any issues. Very quiet and seems to be able to take a couple bumps. My only complaint is the USB cord is small. When routing it though an entertainment center, the cord doesn't reach very far. Overall, I'm very happy with this device and would recommend it to other users, especially for the Xbox One.

Western Digital makes good external hard drives. Its my third hard drives from them. Great product and great price!

I wasn't looking for performance in this drive, just looking for reliable storage. So if you're gaming or doing video processing, this drive may or may not work for you. But it gets five stars from me because I had been backing up to it with NovaStor for several weeks when my internal hard drive died, and everything was right there when I did restores. That's good enough for me.

It was primarily bought for the XBox One. Works great and increased space on the main unit. It has a wall adapter, but for me, it is not an issue. 4 TB vs 2 TB without a plug was a difference of $20. My only issue is that the unit is permanently on. After turning off Xbox, you hear it powering down, but the white LED keeps blinking. Not a major issue. But it is a great deal.

I used this for backups of several PC's...I have it connected to my router...The problem is that I can't see the backups directly from my PC...I have to go thru software on my router...I think next time I'll buy a hard drive that has a network port...

Bought for use with xbox one. Games actually load a little bit quicker vs the internal HD. Not a groundbreaking improvement in speed but enough to notice.

This purchase was made to provide storage for an Xbox One. Set up was easy and effortless. So far, after a little more than a month, everything works great, no issues, no hassles. The Xbox gets fairly heavy usage and this has kept up without lags or any issues. The product was great for it's price.

External hard drives, used with a good backup program, are an easy way to protect your valuable data from loss. Over the years I've bought a number of different external hard drives for use with PCs and Macs. While their job is simple (store files quickly and reliably) some exhibit odd quirks that cause problems. Not so with this WD hard drive; it works flawlessly. And the price is right.

So far GREAT Item & Sale Price! Should last a long time--as my 1st one did. Hopefully, WD is still making high quality products! Buy one for yourself.

This is a great product. Very easy to use. Small so it doesn't use much space.

Bought this one month now and it is powered on 90% of the time/day. Works like a charm. No problems. Also have a similar one for over 3 years and still no probelms. Needless to say, I will be buying WD external drives exclusively. Not the cheapest on the market but the most reliable which is what matters!

Easy install, easy use. Great deal for the money. 4TB is plenty of backup space.

I bought this for my Xbox one, it just works greatly with Xbox One, and I feel it's a little faster than the internal hard drive inside Xbox One.
