This is the third one I have bought and I am very happy with It's performame and price point. Great back up software also.

Nice large capacity hard drive. Good value for the price.

Needed to replace my old external hard drive and this was on sale at a good price. Easy to install and set-up. it was difficult to set a schedule for auto back-up of the PC. Other than that, great product.

Great product but not really necessary for me. If you need this much space then I would definitely recommend. I bought this on Black Friday since it was cheap.

I didn't want to waste a sata slot on an internal hard disk drive, I reserve those for my SSDs. This drive is great for backing up large amounts of data, or for storing movies and such. I even have no issues playing 4K movies direct from the drive.

I got the 4Tb mybook after returning the 3Tb cloud has drive. The MyBook drive is so much faster than the cloud drive and very easy to use and configure backups if you want. Since I leave the computer on 24/7 it made more sense for me to buy the 4tb Mybook giving me an extra Terrabyte for less money than the slower 3tb WD cloud drive..

My computer has low space (1tb). I bought thiis hard drive as backup. Now it's my main hard drive. The speed is amazing.

Bought it for my grandson as a Christmas present. So far he and his mom are happy with the product! Plenty of memory!

Bought this to use as a media server that I attached to my router. It works great but goes to sleep to easily. I know there is a way to change it but the tools are not overly friendly with a networked drive.

I use this as my media dump for my network it streams well to my WD TV live - Western Digital makes some great products

Simple setup. Plug in power cord and USB cable and you're ready to immediately start backing up all your important files.

The product for me has been excellent. Storage retrieval is fast, boot up is fast no problem this far with the my book 4tb

I love the HDD I will hold ton of data no new to worry.

AS USUAL WD IS THE BEST! GREAT QUALITY HARD DRIVE , NICE LOOK AND PERFORMANCE.

This is a great drive. With 4tb, I partitioned 2 volumes (2tb each). One for storage of data and vms and another for backup images. Best feature for me is the kingston lock port so i can lock it to my desk and never have to worry about putting it away every time I use it. Its fast enough to reimage a 512gb disk in less than an hour. My only problem is if I have it plugged in and boot up the BIOs hangs. Not sure why that is but I assume it is due to the partitioning or something.

I plan to connect this to my NETGEAR - N300 Wireless-N Router with DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem for home network storage for laptop and smartphone backup.

I bought this to have cloud storage at home and it's great and does the job perfectly as connected to my router.
