    Wired as a network drive through my router. It is a little slow to access, and if 2 processes access at once could give an error. Total space on the drive is 3.6TB which is 10% below stated capacity.

    I am using as a backup. I partitioned it one for a dynamic backup (time machine) and the rest for files. So far it works well. A bit big and there is no switch off, but 4TB for this price it's good.

    I bought this to keep backup copies offline for three computers. With all the ransomeware going on right now I thought it would be wise to keep backups offline just in case. So far the drive has been working fine for that. I backup the computers then keep it unplugged and stored away just in case.
