I bought this drive as an external drive for my Xbox One. So far, it works great, and loads games up fast enough that most recreational gamers will be pleased. No lag during game play, and save times are quick. The amount of space is great for those who have a lot of digital games.

A few years after I bought this hard drive, I am still using it.

This was really plug and play. Started it up, followed the onscreen instructions, and that was it.

Going to be a while before I run out of room for backing things up.

I use it for my Xbox one I don't have to worry about running out of hard drive space any time soon

I bought this for my home PC to backup my files, music, and pictures. Easy setup.You can set it up to do automatic backups. It also has software included to an image backup of your OS.

I like the product a lot. It allows me to access my music from my control 4 system. The only problem that exists is the ability to easily access music from the cloud. If you have a Comcast router/modem combination, you have to change some of the advance settings to recognize the modem due to Comcast's automatic closing of certain ports needed to access the WD cloud remotely. Other than that, once you figure out the settings, its good to go!

I migrated all of my Xbox One games to this hard drive. It's fast and I've had absolutely no issues.

I looked over all the external hard drives at Best Buy, and this one was definitely a "best buy."

Bought it to connect to raspberry Pi to make NAS and it works great. Quiet and temperature is OK.

I like the simplicity to use across multiple computers and the set up was quick. Very reliable product.

It isn't a NAS device, but I was able to connect it to my router and map to it from my laptop. In effect, a network drive. Have copied a lot of files to it but have not done a speed test yet. Not the fastest, but seems to be working fine. Lots of storage for a reasonable price.

I bought this for my son's Xbox 1. He uses it to store his saved games on it and it works great.

Very useful backup drive. Power cycles on its own - silent except when backup is actually running.

Very happy with this purchase. Bought this to replace another WD external drive which is 7 years old (still works great, just used all storage space) This was so easy to hook up and connect with Time Machine on iMac.
