not the fastest transfer rate but does a great job as a back up and put it away

So far has been configured to be my primary drive and has increased loading times. Only bad part is it doesn't shut off when the xbox one is turned off.

For what it is it's great. I just needed something to free up my laptop stat. This isn't plug and play. It should state on the box that it's can't be connected to the computer like a normal external for lazy people like me that don't read manuals. I might get this again when I have time to go thru the hassle of setting it up for the wireless features. I bought and returned two of these before realizing that it only works connected to the modem not your computer.

This is an excellent hard drive if you have large amounts of data to store.

It's a hard drive. I transferred all my junk to it and then put it in a fire safe. Hopefully it powers on if I need it. Pros: USB 3.0, Not Seagate, hasn't died. Did the stuff. 3-2-1 Backup. 3 copies, two local different mediums, 1 offsite.

I attached this to my Xbox One to use as extra memory. Works like a charm.

Using this as a memory expansion for my gaming system and it works great.

I purchased this external hard drive to replace a drive that I purchased from another manufacturer. This drive is extremely fast and very quite. I use it to store videos, pictures, and other media. My only complaint is that the provided back-up software takes a little working with to get the program working.

Hard drive is perfect for my need and came at a great Black Fridat price!

I use this with my macbook pro to add some cheap storage. I use two of them for redundancy without having to spend more money on the dual drive enclosure. Maybe not the most efficient use of space but gets the job done and saves some green

Guess I can't complain about the drive. Plugged it in to the Xbox One it asked to format it, and it's been working fine for about a month so far.

I bought this to store my movie collection and connect to my router so I can watch them from anywhere in the house and I have to say it works pretty well, minus about 7 seconds of lag if you have to pause the movie over 30 seconds. Be careful of the connection cord and try to keep this unit stationary....it was not designed to be carried around. I crashed one last year doing that.

I have been replacing all my failing seagate externals with these. The WD drives are rock solid and super fast. The most important part is they stay nice and cool. Highly recommend.

This hard drive was very easy to set up and use, basically plug-n-play. It's designed for quick and often uploading and downloading of data versus the passport-style external drives which have similar capacity, but slower transfer rates.

This is a great product. Don't know how I got along without for so long.
