    Great drive. Plug in and go. I use it to back up documents, photos, home movies, and so forth. I've had very good results with Western Digital external drives, and this one appears to be no exception.

    I purchased this as I was in need of a quick and efficient backup for my computer as I was experiencing hard wire issues. Not only was this efficient, but iit was extremely easy to set up and use.

    A friend of mine bought this external hard drive for his xbox 1. He said it worked just fine, so I went and bought one myself. And it was on sale.

    I've had this hard drive now for about a month with no issues. I got it to mainly store my movie collection and so far it's been pretty reliable. Haven't had any issues with it yet and the price was just right.

    These are good storage drives. I have 2 of them and both work very well. I have one connected to my router to use as a media device for my home network and the other for backing up my computers.

    I have had great reliability from Western Digital drives in the past, and purchased WD again because of that. This one works well and I trust it will continue to do so. I prefer NAS (network attached storage) over USB for backups so this drive will augment my NAS RAID set until I expand its capacity.
