This was implemented as an active working drive at my place of work. For being an external, it is extremely fast, even across networks. There have been no issues, and has performed excellently.

This storage device is very easy to configure. Works very good in my personal cloud setup.!

I bought this to use as a central NAS on my home network. This is primarily intended to be a backup device. I set it up on a local PC as a removeable drive. It is not Unfortunately it is not able to be viewed on my LG smart TV. I am sure it can be done, I just have not figured it out yet & there is very little documentation .

This is a great little backup drive. You can setup the drive in different ways Raid0(16TB no fault) Raid1 (8TB with a spare 8TB as a backup) or JBOD (2 different 8TB drives)

I've used two other hard drives before this by far is the largest will be able to store my music collection with out any problem.

It works great as a RAID external drive. Do NOT buy this for use as a NAS. I am going to use my desktop as a file server.

It works just fine. The setup process took a bit longer than I expected. It doesn't come with a booklet and you have to go online to follow the setup process. With the MAC it worked out, i just think the setup steps should be more clear.

Just the item I needed for backing up my large photo files and large Excell data files. Great, I am very happy.

Paired this with my 3TB NAS WDCloud Drive in order to have greater storage on NAS. Works well for system backups.

Plug and play with it. Onboard software allows configuration if you need to.

This was as advertised. We used it in RAID 1 and had something less than 8TB avaialble.

A really slow drive compared to my 16TB WD Elements. Not just a little slow, really slow. My other drive is 4-5x faster with transfers. Another problem I've encountered is a Windows 10 update somehow killed the USB-C to A connection to this drive. Now it only works from C to C. The drive is unrecognizable on two computers unless I use that particular cable. Weird, but I'm glad it's not (yet) bricked.

This unit was on clearance so I grabbed it and stripped the drives out to use them directly to avoid the hardware encryption forced by the unit itself. Can't report on the actual performance of the enclosure.

As a onsite backup solution it is perfect. No issues so far.

This Desktop Hard drive is a great but when configured as separate drives and plugged onto a NAS only one drive is recognized
