I was tired of my small external drives taking forever to perform routine backups, so I invested in this "momma". It was a good choice.

I have been using it for several years now and it works correctly and has not given any problems.

I needed an external hard drive for data storage for my Mac but ended up using it on my PC instead. I just reformatted it and it has been running trouble free for the last two months.

Very nice drive. Took 5 minutes to set up and start using. I would recommend this to ALL MAC users.

One sound bar instead of subwoofer, receiver and 4 speakers not to mention all the wire. Love having one thing that does it all.

I love how you can distribute the memory by creating different folders for different users with separate passwords.

Needed a hard drive to store video. Drive needed to have sufficient speed and capacity, yet be reasonably priced... and work with a Mac. Score on all requirements!

Great product, super easy to setup , it's a great product for beginners. Pairs perfectly to my iMac, definitely recommend it.

I use this drive for a partitioned backup of the apple computers on our home network. The first backup takes quite a while but after that the time machine backups are quite quick.

At this point I have only used it a couple of times but it has been an easy transition for shifting data from my computer to allow more space. I think this is really going to help.

The MyBook is a great product in general. It's a good value and the software that comes with it is a nice added value.

At about $30 a TB not bad, as the price of memory comes down so will the cost of this hard drive. Otherwise it's great

I took this back to the store and had one of the clerks turn the Time Machine option off and show me how to do it. After deleting the program from my MAC, I was able to use this as a hard drive. The only problem, is that as a hard drive, when I transfer folders, the folders explode and all files are stored randomly. This product needs some work before it will be a very good hard drive. But for now...its a great place to store all of my photos. My computer runs a lot faster now. So all in all a good purchase.

Not as nice as the apple storage devices which will automatically store docs, pics, etc.. However, for over a hundred dollars less, it's gets the job done!

Installed easily. Still get message raid file not working. Backups seem to be there. Don't like the Time Machine function though.

I bought this to back up pictures and it hold thousands. Nice size and easy to use.
