As long as you download all the helpful apps this is a good product. Disappointed it wont let you automatically back you phone up to it like Icloud.

Very disappointed that software does not work with windows 10 and WD has no information whether it will ever interface. A major customer failure.

This is a great Network attached storage device. The my cloud software isn't all that great but the drive is!!!

So far this product has been working magnificent. I have been traveling in Europe and the connection is great I have been lucky that the WiFi signals where I have been have been reliable. I've able to access my movies and music and other files with no problem.

I had a transporter that became vastly improved with their new software. When I sw the WD Mycloud solution I bought it based on price and WD name. Connection was easy and it works reasonably well until I am now in a hotel and cannot connect to it via shortcut or manually. I can connect to transporter which sits right next to the my cloud. I am not sure I would buy another one.

I have one of this before and they are great, everything made for Apple is good

It is nice to have as a backup, but that puts it in the same location as my originals. Good for a hard drive malfunction, but bad if there is a fire. I have been copying over my photos so that I would have a backup. I try to copy entire folders, but it doesn't always copy everything inside. That is very frustrating for me. Once I get it all over, it will be fine, just a bit tedious. Good thing is you can copy over the entire file or use it as a backup.

Got all my stuff up in the cloud now and my Mac back ups there too. Awesome!

For the most part this is awesome piece of hardware that comes with fairly easy software to set up. Works with all my devices like laptop, desktop, or smart phone... After adding the app provided by wd I can access all my files from home and when I'm away from home remotely with Internet connection. One thing I did notice, the other week wd had a problem on their end and the remote access was down for a little while. Other then that it's been great.

It works like I wanted and lets me have personal cloud storage like I wanted.

Easy to set up and and get operating. Easy to add users and share resources. Works great on a network.

Bought this to save photos of vacations with a new Laptop and had no trouble with it until I moved 700 miles away. The problem was my fault because I did not keep the box to store it in when I moved. It got dropped.

This product is perfect especially with the Cloud storage.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for centalized storage and distribution of home media.
