I connected this to my network, followed the quick start guide and it was up and running in just a couple of minutes. The Smartware, shares and user setup is a bit challenging. The public share and remote access works well.

Set-up installation instructions that came with product were not accurate but once I got it working, it works well.

Bought this in order to have access to files when traveling in Europe. Great item. Easy to setup, great value and accessible from anywhere there is a net connection. Peace of mind with data backup and access. Very pleased with this item and have recommended to others

I have not had extensive use of it yet, but appears to be doing what I needed: upload anything at anytime from anywhere for secure storage so can free up space on my iPad and iPhone, plus know that my pictures are safe. There are multiple downloads during setup; a summary of all the setup procedures would be nice.

I went through the setup once and now it just performs am easy backup through he network. Solid Choice!!!

I like this device I have two. Only wish WD would make one app that does all instead of two, but they work great.

Pretty easy to set up. Nice for home or small office where alot of shared documents exist between users.

At the recommendation of the Geek Squad Store Manager who uses this product, I purchased the system. I haven't had it installed yet by the Geek Squad but am looking forward to backup on all my pcs plus the ability to access from anywhere.

Got this to store and access our music. So far over 400 CD's stored and room for lots more. Our pictures go in next. Ties in excellently with our computers and the SONOS system.

Great way to store your pictures, music and files with out having to pay monthly. I love the fact that every picture you take with your phone, it automatically uploads to your cloud. Plus you can have many users you want.

Set up was painless and we immediately started using the unit. Much faster than the NAS we were using before. Also allows a secondary USB disk to be added so I can also share that as well. I prefer having my files held locally..

Bought one of these to consolidate my photos and movies taken with iPhone/iPad. Wanted to share between 4 devices (2iPhones & 2iPads). really easy setup and network - just plug it in load the software and your good to go.

Price is great for amount of external storage and ability to connect additional products via wifi. HOWEVER-the directions are nothing short of horrible. A picture is all you are provided with. If I need to recommended based on directions I would give product a -10

Using this product to back up 3 iPhones, MacBook Pro, iPad and iPod. No connection issues going through my house router. Picked up on sale for $10 over the 2tb version.
