I come from a world of self-hosting servers for several users. With that comes a lot of continual maintenance and time. Once getting out of that, I still needed a solution for the many files that I personally have from my hobby of photography. This was a great solution to allowing me to access files remotely without paying fees to a third-party, while still being easy and lo maintenance.

Set up was easy. Have had no problems with this device. Use it for picture file storage to be accessed by 4 computers.

I have over a million pictures. The WD mycloud mirror allows me to view my pictures from my cell phone.

This is a great drive and so easy to set up. Took less than 5 minutes to have it running. I needed something that could work across Mac and PC and could be easily accessed from multiple computers. Works great across all and the App makes it all accessible from phone and Ipad.

Good Product, not too difficult to set up. Better non-technical explanation of the features and functions would help the Non-Geek set it up the way they want to. They assume you know all of the geek jargon. So far, Very Satisfied!

This is a great simple "gateway" into using network attached storage. It's easy enough to use for the novice, but more experienced people with NAS drives may find the feature sets a bit lacking. That said, it just works whereas some other NAS units that I've worked with can take some time to get up and running smoothly.

This is my second one. I love the cost and reliability of the WD drives. Easy to set up and use. I plan to buy one for each project I get involved with.

This is a great drive and the only reason I didn't give it a five star is because I think the transfer rate could be faster. It could be that I'm working to fast.

For those of you looking for Large Business or Professional grade cloud this is not for you. This is a good option for Home use, easy to put online in a very short time. Has a few bells and whistles and is very good at what it was meant to do. Have had zero problems, did not use the mirror drive option have it configured has 1 4tb drive.

For a basic start up server, it works awesome! We had one at work and loved it. Although it's not the best and not the easiest user friendly interface, it definitely gets the job done once you get the hang of it. Highly recommend if you want a reliable first time personal server

I have only had this hard drive for about a month now. I think it is to soon to make an evaluation of the product. These reviews should come at about 1 year so we new users can know what we are reviewing properly. Having said this the product is working as the information said it would up to this time. No problems so far. I truly hope it continues this way.

First the My Cloud Mirror is running fine after over a year. Instructions are an embarrassment in this day and age. On line help is marginal from WD but there are plenty of third party forums with people having the same issues. You do get phone support from WD but it is time limited so you better get everything right including the cloud storage working before your time runs out. Biggest issue we had is mapping in our somewhat complex environment. I still have one workstation that loses the mapped drive on a regular basis.

This device is great. Never thought something so useful would be easy to setup and come at an affordable price. Love it.
