Read reviews and decided on this verse a regular 2tb hd. I like the streaming option for videos. I don't think the charge will last long with several devices hooked up. I am a little disappointed that it can't be used while charging. That's the biggest con which all the pros outweigh.

Very convenient for wireless use both access and backup purposes! a bit more expensive but worth the price.

The Western Digital portable compact hard drive works very efficiently with software included with the drive. Big enough space to store File History, backup documents of several devices. Great value versus other brand name for the price. High recommended to consider when looking for a drive

I have lost everything on my Mac in the past because I didn't have one of these little jewels. I should have invested in one from the very beginning. Good value for an external hard drive.

Plug and go - easy to use. Unfortunately we discovered we could not use it easily to share files when we travel. Going to the cloud!

Great, portable storage with 1tb of room to save videos, music and files. Easy to use wifi access or direct plug and play.

I got this drive to use "on the go". The battery power is very neat and handy, but the Wifi sometimes times out or drops off. USB 3.0 connection has been 100% reliable. I'd still recommend it, hoping for a few manu updates to possibly fix this.

Initially it was easy for me to make a wireless and wired connection between the product and my MacBook. However after few days I was not able to connect using USB. I had to restore the product to factory settings to make it work. I restored it few time which was frustrating for me. Also with wireless connection buffer time is more to play videos on the disk as compared to playing videos online. Overall I would say the product needs lot of improvements to make is hassle free and user friendly product with respect to connectivity and accessibility.

This worked great on my laptop to add my space. Now my computer doesn't give me a warning saying low space available.

This works ok for what I bought it for. Which was to save go pro videos. Without a computer. Once it's set up. It easily reads and deletes SD cards. The downside is that if you want to stream HD video from it. It's very slow and choppy. Huge improvements would be a solid state drive and faste wifi.

Salesman told me this item had Bluetooth. That is what I was looking for and to my disappointment it wasn't. Product does work and is wireless but where I needed it I wanted it to support a Bluetooth connection. Sadly it didn't meet my need and the salesman didn't have a clue as to what it did either

I would recommend this storage unit to anyone looking for have a good data backup device.

This is a very good portable drive that you can add to your Wi-Fi so you do not have to back you computer up with too many cables.

I've been using this for certain backups and photos. I keep it plugged in. Works well and is fairly fast. I only have USB 2 so the speed is down. Other options for its use are for non Mac computers. It is small and compact so it does not take up much space. Just remember that if you have a Mac, it is good for backup. Windows gets other options.
