This product stores a lot of pictures and videos.

We all know the importance of a good external hard drive. I believe the Passport 2TB to be exactly that. I purchased the hard drive in Jan 2020 and what I really love is that I don't have to worry or keep checking to see if backup is occurring because I get periodic messages that backup is occurring. Very nice!

What can I say. WD has an excellent reputation. I have several WD external drives to backup my data and, knock on wood, they keep on truckin'. I use them as redundant backups.

Works as described. There is not much else to say.

I really liked the drive itself. It has a huge capacity for a very low price. However, the bundled software was not as good as the older version I bought several years ago. WD Backup used to offer much greater control of what to backup and where to back it up. It allowed the user to closely track the progress of the backup. WD Drive Utilities is more limited as well. It tests the drive, but provides little information about what it found.

This is my 3rd passport, fortunately. My only criticism is this one came with no installation instructions. It did take several tries to get the new software installed probably because nothing told me I had to unsistall the older version instead of it being a straight update of what was already on the computer. Once I thought to try that all went well. I believe that to be a WD deficiency as opposed to Best Buy.

I needed a new hard drive since my old one wasn't compatible with my new OS. Its small and lightweight and easy to use.

Plugged it into USB, Win10 recognized it, it worked. Ahhh, simple. That's what I want.

I was greeted cordially, directed to the aisle i wanted. A clerk came forward and then assisted me in buying tbe product that best suited my needs. Check out sites in area busy so i was escorted up front for immediate chechout. Thsts a 10 out of 10!

Got this for a pretty decent price, if its at a discount it definitely is a good buy.
