This external hard drive is a “plug and play” device, making it easy to set up. My only problem with it, is that it only allows for the storage of games and applications and not for videos and screenshots. To be fair, with all of the apps and games stored on the drive, you should have plenty of room for clips and pictures.

Great easy way to upgrade the amount of storage on my 500 gig system. Plus I couldn't go wrong getting it for half price

I like it, it saves room on my ps4, but seriously wondering if the normal hd and gamers hd is the same.....

These items are crucial if you want to play without having to pick and choose the few games that you want to keep on your system. If you get the monthly free games, you can run out of room really quick and I was tired of not being able to download and try them without spending half an hour picking some to delete. This has worked well. It will occasionally glitch and act like it might have lost its contents, but the quick option to repair always sets it right. It's just a little contrary, that's all.

The only reason I did 4 stars is that it has to be plugged in directly to the ps4. I had to remove my charger to plug directly into the unit. Unable to use the usb that is on the charging unit itself and purchase a dual charge with only one usb plug.

Easy to install don't have to plug it into a wall great for those who have a huge collection like myself. I'm over 210 games at the moment.

I picked it up on sale. It's a great amount of storage for so cheap. No issues with connectivity. Only con I've noticed so far is the writing speed. It is much shower than my older 3TB HDD. If you're in no hurry to play games you download then this is definitely the HDD for you.

I really liked this product, kinda sad i was not able to save my pictures and videos but with games having a lot od downloadable content and taking up space. This product was ideal and it made it easier to have my games on the go.

USB 3.0 or not, it seems like it takes longer to load games off this drive rather than the internal. The extra storage is very nice for someone like me who downloads all the games.

Easy to set up instructions were straight forward, did notice some slowing when playing games online though that were downloaded to it, other than that it’s really great

Works as expected. Needs to be plugged into the front of the PS4. No ports to plug into the back so it's an eye-sore which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

We purchased this for extra storage until we upgrade out PS4. It's great for extra storage, but not so much speed. Takes over an hour to load games.

Very easy to install and format, works great. Very smooth interface with the PS4 as far as game play and downloading.

Came with a tiny instruction manual and was very easy to setup. Would’ve given five stars but it won’t do the dishes.

My PS4 was getting really full and this helps a bunch. It does slow it down a little bit though.

I bought this for somebody else and they told me the included cable was too short to connect to a ps4.
