Excellent Drive!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far, this is the BEST drive I've ever used for my Mac Book Pro. In Raid 0 it's reads over 200 mbs! It's twice as thick as the Passports, but for 4 TB and Thunderbolt with the speed, it's worth it!

Superfast Transfer speeds

I shoot photos in Raw and they are rather large and there is very little to no lag time to transfer to the drive for editing.

Just Plug, Play and Enjoy

Wait If You've Upgraded to Yosemite
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice speed and simple to set up but the drive does not appear to be completely compatible with Yosemite. The drive comes configured as one 4 TB drive and you have to reconfigure for either two mirrored 2 TB sections or two separate 2 TB drives. The utility program that does this failed to set up the drive for mirrored configuration and WD does not have an answer so far. Check the support section of their site to see if this has been resolved. The version of the utility software at this time is 2.0.0.18

Using it without any problems

It just works. I am buying another for my son.

Lost 3tb worth of music
