Best external drive you can get
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great ssd, it's smaller than I expected but it's just as fast, if not faster than I hoped, I wish the cable was longer and that the adapter didn't make it stick so far out of my computer, however if your laptop has type c ports you won't even need the adapter, I currently have it velcroed to the back of my surface laptop 2 and I love it, I'm rating 4 instead of 5 because of how small the cable is, how big the adapter is, and that consensus online is that the encryption isn't that great, although I've also hear wd may have improved their security since 2015

This external SSD handled the collection and then down load in record time. After installing the files I checked on some that were very important and all the data and formatting was present, just like I had originally built it.
