This hard drive is very fast when I save files on it even big files. It was easy to install it on my computer. The size is perfect for me. I can easily carry it and put it on my purse.

1.5 TB, small as a pack of cards. Plugged in, worked right away, used a 3.0 USB port, so it's all fast. A couple of these for under 80 dollars, and who needs to pay for cloud storage?

Always had great success with any Western Digital product and this is no exception. It's compact, fast, and holds enough for my use.

So easy! I just connected it to my computer with the included cable and it set itself up quickly. I transferred 350GB from my pc & now the computer runs great. I also use my MacBook to access the files on this external hard drive. It's a great product at a really good price.

My Laptop has been doing some funny things lately, so I wanted to do some serious backups before I try and reload the OS. This little guy gives me solid performance, loads of space and the price was great. It can do continuous backup (how I am using it) or scheduled backups.

There is preloaded software. Nothing that your PC OS can't do, so its not necessarily essential. I recommend reformatting any memory bought because you never know if there are viruses on them. Other than that, this unit is very fast, compact, and reliable.

This is my third WD external drive. I bought this one because it has a lot more GB's than my other 2 which are close to being full. I use it to backup my laptops and I am very happy with the performance. I have never had a problem with a WD drive,

I am still trying to learn all that comes with this back up drive but so far it is really great and not too big in size. The 1.5 TB holds plenty of stuff. I really like it. Had no problems with hook up just plug it in.

I needed a hard drive to hold my video projects. Computer memory was running low. 1.5tb holds all my music and video files now. Works great and is same size as other passport hard drives.

This is the first hard drive I buy and it is easy to use. I do not know why I didn't get it before. It saves storage on my laptop and phone. Good amount of space for personal use

You can't beat the value of this drive. It's small, extremely fast and reliable. It's perfect for people who travel, but need more than a flash drive.

Easy to set up. I'm using it as a backup for my networked drive since its a usb drive i can plug it in when i need to back up additional files.

I bought this for use with the Xbox One. I have it plugged in the back and out of sight. Works really well, but it has a white drive activity light. I had to put electrical tape over the drive activity light because in a dark room playing Xbox One or watching tv/movie, I could see the white light blinking on the wall. Problem with Xbox One is that the usb ports are on all the time so even not using the console, the light flashes. A little tape and you don't know it's there. Other than that, works as advertised.
