      The drive works great and has a pretty fast download speed. I suggest anyone looking for one purchase the 3.0 version! However as with all of them, the have a short cable so keep that in mind!

      This is a really good USB HDD with very fast transfer speeds. There are no issues with backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 ports. My only disappointment is that it is not MAC compatible.

      Given the passport ultra drives are slimmer than their normal counterparts I expected a slimmer drive however it accomplishes what I bought it for and I have no problems with it thus far

      I needed a 1G+ external drive for my laptop. This fit my needs perfectly, except for the speed. I wish it was 7200rpm instead of 5400. It couldn't keep up with the the app I was using.

      The only issue I've had was with the usb 3.0. For some reason, my computer was only recognizing the device as USB 2.0. Once that issue was fixed, it transfered with blazing speed.
