All my WD drives have been rock solid, this one is no exception. The drive itself performs as expected, however the plastic packaging tray was a nice addition worth mentioning. It seals up tight and provides protection for the hard drive and USB cable during transport and storage.

Hard disk is compact for portability and is large enough for a complete backup of my music and photos.

I got 2 of these to replace similar 1TB WD portable drives that I use for backups and were now full. The physical drives just work, which is what I need. I don't use any of the supplied software so no rating of that.

I picked this up to back up all of my photos and videos on our computers and laptops, and it literally took no more then 10minutes start to finish. Easy as it could be.

This is the fourth WD 2TB drive that I have purchased in the last year. I havent had an issue with any of the ones that I have purchased so far. Reliable drive and good speeds with the usb 3.0 connection. This is the first one I bought from Best Buy but it was 20.00 less here than Target so I couldn't pass up the bargain. Great deal. Good value.

This product exceeded expectations. Plug in play to the Xbox one like it was made for it. After a quick format, I had tons of memory for the console. You can't even tell the game you are playing is on an external hard drive with the high speed 3.0 USB cable. Great purchase.

WD drives are made for portability. They last pretty long and survive through the daily travel.

This was a very good price for a external hard drive of this size . Very easy to get started .

This product does everything I expected it to and more. I am not an IT person, so when I say it automatically backs up your computer, it does! Also, because it is a hard drive I can install programs and take the program from one desktop to another and they work fine.

I purchased another WD Passport to use for the upcoming DVR functions on the Xbox One and I choose this HD because the 1 TB Passport I've had for over a year is still running strong and has given me no trouble.

I have been using this hdd for almost a year, in all my trips, and It has not failed so far. It is expected to fail one of this days, but for a year of hard work, it has been doing his job real good!. Remember it is always to have a backup of your data somewhere else.

My Xbox was running out of memory and this hard drive delivered its value in a jiffy. It is a simple plug and play and I now have extra memory for all my games and it runs flawlessly so far. Worth the price

I bought this external Hard Drive for extra space on my Xbox 1 what has 500 gigs of space. Now with the 2TB of addition space I don't see needing anymore space for years to come. Work perfectly with Xbox 1.

Size is great. Fits in your pocket on the go if you need to. Fast load up and transfer. WD reliability like all the others I have. Good price too at 80 on sale.

No surprises here. Well-made, durable, long-lasting, fast (for an external drive) and does perfectly what it was designed for. It's a little thicker than some external drives, but I don't consider that a problem. It's a great external storage / back-up unit.

This is the best computer related purchase I have made in a long time. Super fast... I was able to get all of my old pictures and music from multiple (dying) computers in one spot. Easy to use and well worth themoney, especially if you catch it on sale.

It is very easy to use - just plug in and you are ready. It works well and transfers files quickly. The portability of the device is also excellent - just unplug it and take it with you to the next computer you want to use it on. The price is right also.

Great HD. All my WD HDs have done well for me. Still have my 500GB from 5+ years ago, just ran out of space. USB 3.0 is great! Got it at a great price on sale too. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars, was due to the actual space available. Even after formatting and removing the included apps, I was left with 1.8 TB. This is common with all HDs but I wish they would give you the amount advertised.

Plug and Play - no muss, no fuss. Computer immediately recognized and was able to use the hard drive. It is USB 3 so I recommend using a Super Speed port on your PC, but it also works with older USB 2 ports. Just not as fast on the older ports. Great for backups or simply to expand storage or to move files from one PC to another. It comes with a program that allows you to back up your data in the background. You would not even know it is working until it tells you the backup is complete. I have it scheduled to backup every hour so my backup data is always current.
