This is for File History on a Windows 10 notebook computer. I have not been using it long enough to tell how well it works. The cord is too short to be convenient, but I am using it anyway. With these limits of knowledge and satisfaction, I would recommend it.

I bought a 2 TB external hard drive and it was good.

its been just a month.. it work really well so far.

No issues with the drive. It does what its suppose.

The drive works well and seems faster than the internal drive. However, the drive is always blinking even when the xbox is off regardless of the settings you use. I don't think it is a WD issue, but perhaps an Xbox One issue.

I had heard so many great things about this product. I downloaded all of my info off of my laptop onto it. When I went to upload them to my computer, it wouldn't open anything I saved to it.

I purchased this WD drive and a Seagate drive and prefered the Seagate. This drive was a bit slower and thicker in size. Also semed to require more power. i prefered the Seagate.

I have bought WD Passports before but this time I have had difficulty in setting it up to back up on a regular cycle. It may be me or there may be an issue with the unit.

We took so many pictures of Tahiti that I didn't have enough space to save them all on one device. This works great.

Won't allow me to save data on it. Tried reformatting it, but it won't. Customer service at WD was worthless.

I transferred all of my files over and received confirmation, only to find out that I lost everything. It didn't properly transfer files.

No issues so far but I only got this to replace my last external drive (which failed but was a different brand so not relevant here)

The hard drive didn't fit my specific needs at the time but the price didn't hurt. Just your basic HD with lack luster backup software.

No quite what I expected. It seems to be required to be plugged in all the time to work correctly.

after i used this the hard drive said it was corrupted, i lost all that i had stored on it. I brought it back to best buy less then a month after purchasing, the man there said sometimes these hard drives go bad and there's nothing that can be done, he was of no help and made to suggestion other than to buy a new one. i was more unhappy with the treatment from best buy than i was with the hard drive.
