I've bought 3 of these units and they do their job well. One is used daily for school work in a jr high school class, the other for backups and one for general misc purposes. The color options are a nice touch.

This is my 4th My Passport portable HDD I've bought over the last 3 years. They are extremely reliable, and they have never stopped working for me, unlike other external HDDs I've purchased in the past. The USB 3.0 has a very fast transfer rate, and they work with Xbox One, Windows, and macOS (if you have NTFS software support drivers).

This hard drive has been great. Had to reformat to work with my Mac, but that was a simple process. Fast transfer rates and a ton of storage. This is my second WD external hard drive and I am very happy with their products.

I'm a big scrapbooker so I needed something that I could back up all my pics before I use them. I thought my computer was gonna crash so I was trying to back up the pics and it was gonna take over 30 CDs to get them all saved until I remembered I had the external hard drive.

I keep the little guy plugged into my TV for all my digital copies of movies and tv shows. It's small, like wallet sized, and runs pretty fast. I've had some lag streaming 4K content from the device, but it's rare. Good hard drive for the price.

A great storage device for the money. The color of this device continues to be cheaper than the other colors, so I recommend going with this color since the only difference is cosmetic.
