I have three of these things and love them. This one is hooked up to my xbox one and is perfect.

I didn't realize just how much 2TB is until I started backing up all of my pictures and family videos. I cannot image ever needing more.

I have 4 WD My passport HDD's and this new model continues to live to up the benchmarks set by its predecessors. Its a bit heavier than some competitors but the warranty, build and reliability makes up for it. Write speeds went up to 60Mbps.

I found that this was the perfect way to never lose information in case of my internal hard drive failing. Periodic automatic back-ups!

Easy to set up and use. Like the compact size. Back up changes and additions from my computer and have peace of mind if computer crashes I have the contents saved on this external hard drive (most importantly precious pictures of my grandchildren). This is my third WD Passport external hard drive as I have had good experiences and trust them.

It's pretty fast and great storage space for mobile DJing. Holds a ton of songs and videos.

I download 74 steam games on this portable drive for my wifes laptop and still have plenty of room and games load at a decent speed.

I needed more storage for my 500gb xbox one. This works with it and was ready to use out of the box. Plug it in the USB port and format it, simple. Does not require to be plugged into an outlet. It does blink a white light out of the back though, if that sort of thing is something that will bother you. In my opinion, it's not super bright.

WD My Passport drives are my go to drive for external storage. I have never had any problems with the drives. They are reliable and work when needed. My only complaint with them is you need to use the proprietary cable for the drives.

I bought this for my XBox One because the system hard drive was full, and it works great. If you're browsing the internet trying to decide what kind of hard drive to get for your XBox, you'll come across lots of advocates for buying a 7200RPM hard drive with its own power supply, mainly because it will be faster. When searching for a hard drive, speed wasn't really a concern for me - I don't play games as often as I used to so if I have to wait the same amount of time for a game to load as I did on the internal hard drive, I'm OK with that. I considered hard drives with their own power supply, and buying an internal hard drive with an enclosure - and I ultimately ended up with this hard drive because I decided at the end of the day I just wanted a couple of terabytes at a reasonable price, with no extra power cords to stuff behind my TV in a small unit that I can discreetly set on top of my XBox. I didn't do any fancy speed tests to compare with the XBox internal hard drive (and I haven't put it through loading GTA V yet), but if you want a simple way to add storage and are OK with loading times being at or below what they were before...I would recommend this hard drive.

I am using this as my Xbox One game drive. It's plenty of space to back up my games or any other downloaded items I get from Xbox.

I hooked this up to my Xbox one, Plug and play, all you need to do is name the drive. I give this 5 Stars because its just so easy.

I loved this hard drive. Super quiet and didn't get too hot either. Also it's really small compared to other ones I have bought.
