I bought it for my husband who needs to keep a lot of his soldier's information on hand it is small enough for him to carry in his pocket and transfers file very fast and it has encryption. No problem with it and I will be trying to get me one as soon as I can get it on sale again.

The portable WD drive works as expected. It was easy to setup also. I would buy the product again.

I've been using WD My Passport drives for a while. This is my third. All of them works perfect.

The WD Passport Ultra has been great. I needed something quick as my computer was needing to be fixed and didn't want to loose files. It was easy to use and access the files after transferring them. It automatically updates also which is great! Great item with a great price!

These hard drives are perfect! they are so affordable and I have personally never had an issue with any of them, I own at least 5. I back up and store everything on these and it keeps my actual computer running like new with nothing saved on its internal hard drive

Using as a video photo album for my daughter. Keeping converted 8mm videos on this drive for her. I was burning to DVD then it hit me in 10 years DVD's are most likely going to be gone, like VHS tapes. Better keep home video on something that will go into the future, for now.

We are using this hard drive to backup our servers at work. It's working so I'm good with that.

Western Digital has made a compact, portable USB hard drive. It is easy to setup and use. Literally within 5 minutes of opening the box, I had backups in progress. Perfect Backups and no lost data. Ability to password protect the hard drive allows for security of your data.

Great I use it as an External HD on my XboxOne and this HD is Great no issues so far so good.

Wanted to give it 5 stars but I've only had it for a week so I'm not entirely sure of the durability. Transfers are very fast on the USB 3.0 ports, great price if you get it on sale.

So far the drive works as expected. In fact, I bought another after I purchased this one for redundancy. I formatted them so they can be accessed from a Windows and Mac platform. They are small, have fast transfer speeds, and are great for backing up all my digital images.

I got this to replace an older and much larger (physical size) hard drive. I like that it's easily portable, and doesn't need an electric outlet. The backup software that comes with it is easy to use. Actually went out and bought a second one, to have a backup of the backup.

Got this product for use with a MacBook Pro and bought the standard version because it was $10 cheaper than the Mac version. Just had to reformat the drive to exfat (a super simple process that you can google) and it works perfectly and I was able to save myself the $.

Bought this because my hard drive was getting full with all my games. Added this to help and it's been great I have it almost full, I'm about ready for another bugger drive... we drives are great, I have a 3t drive for my other console and that also works great

Works great using for Audit work and it a great feature that is does an automatic encryption

Works with TimeMachine and backups automatically, based on my scheduling. I haven't done a restore with it yet (hopefully won't ever have to) but for backing up, it does the trick!

I use these drives to back up my hp and apple computers. They have been excellent. I now use them for the ReadyShare app with the NetGear wifi router. My computers found the drives immediately and I set as network drives and started using them for my online backup.
