Portable, reliable, efficient, easy to use, and can be purchased at a decent price when on sale. I've purchased 4 of these items over time in the past because I have so much use for them.

Nice that this unit is powered by the USB so no power supply to deal with. Seems fairly fast even at USB 2.0 speeds. It does not take up much room and is great for taking with a laptop.

My Passport is handy for backing up our files for our 5-person family during a computer upgrade, and for holding images from all of our cell phones when it's time to make room on them.

With the USB 3.0 speed, and included WD Backup software, this is a great drive to have on hand. Having used various brands of drives for over 30 years, WD is still the most reliable.

I have used other WD Passports in the past and I have not been disappointed. I use this Passport Ultra to back up my files. It is very easy to use and stores easily when not in use.

I really like the two Gb capacity. I have it hooked to my Router and have my DVD and Blu-Rays that are not Ultra Violet Compatible on it and can watch from all networked devices.

For any kind of memory, I would go with Western Digital. This portable external has not disappointed at all.

This is an excellent portable unit for backingup files. After getting this model I realized that it had a much larger capacity than I needed but now it will last me a long time.

I love this little life saver! I should not run out of room with the 2TB, probably for the rest of my life! Works without any assistance other than plugging in, drag and drop!

runs smooth. the quality of my transfers are great. i think i'll be able to trust this dive and keep forever.

Xbox one has trouble storage. This is a good investment if you intend ever playing more than four games lol

It has a very good design. It is real portable hard drive and it is very light and convenient to put it into your bag. It has password protected feature which is very convenient.

I was trying to find a way to put some old CDs and DVDs into storage. I had seen the WD 1TB passport in the sale ads for a while and was pondering a purchase. A friend of mine has his own cloud and he uses a WD passport as backup. Tried messing with his and decided I liked it. Now I have the 2TB.

I needed to free up some space on my laptop, and I was able to move over lots of files quickly and easily.

My passport is easy to use and it does it jobs. I was able to backup my entire laptop with ease. Their customer service is available to help if you have any question or concerns

I know for sometime this WD is best in external harddisk and do not compromised on this product w.r.t cost
