      I had issues with my laptop going "blackscreen" after being left unattended for a period of time. I took it to BestBuy Geek Squad in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for troubleshooting and repair, Agreeing with their suggestion that I back-up my system I bought this hard drive. I'm pleased with the storage size and the price.

      The WD My Passport Ultra's are better than the new 2016 models that do not carry the "Ultra" in the product name. The new 2016 models only come with a 2 year warranty where the Ultra's have a 3 year warranty. I have purchased several of the Ultra's and have not had any issues with any of them in the last 5 years.
