With external drives, the future is kind of where you evaluate its ability. But, having used many Passport external drives, for me, this was a safe bet to take care of an emergency need of moving 2TB from one place to another. I also did need to reformat it to work on both pc and mac. And so far, it's perfect!

Brought this Hardrive based on good reviews and was not dissapointed. Works good and customer service was the same.

The My Passport USB 3.0 drives are simple to use and come with reasonable software tools and backup/sync software.

So far so good, plugged it into the Xbox, formatted it and it was up and running. Time will tell if it will last.

I have five of these drives and never have had a problem. You can set it up to synch with files on your computer.

Bought this on markdown at a local store and I've been pleased so far. The encryption is a nice feature, you have to download a separate program to whatever computer you're using in order to set-up/use the password feature, if desired. I just wiped and reformatted it for OSX.

With having a Day One edition XB1 a 500gb HD will only hold so much. I did not want to delete any of my past game data so expanding memory with an external device was the best solution. Price was right for the size and comes with a 3 year warranty, longer than any other device.
