Fantastic price, as a deal of the day, I couldn't pass this up. This is the largest capacity small form factor external USB hard drive I have had so far. My other ones were also purchased at BestBuy, the 2.5TB toshiba models. Western Digital is a great brand, excellent performance, and plug and play no issues. I am very happy with this little drive with the big space!

This hard drive is massive in storage, but super small in actually physical real estate. It fits very easily into your pockets for portability. The write and read speeds appear to be very good as well, I have moved several files and never felt like it was taking a great amount of time moving them on or retrieving them. This hard drive is a must have for archivists.

Bump it and it crash on me! 4000 photos and 400 videos i had backed up! Cheap badly made

I originally bought this external hard drive for my son's Xbox One for extra storage. He hasn't had to use it yet, but I have. My computer wouldn't reboot right AFTER Windows 10 AUTOMATIC UPDATE that we are forced to accept, and I had to take my computer into Geek Squad on the 1ST of this month for them to fix the problem. I WAS SO GRATEFUL that I purchased the WD 3TB, because I had to have my computer backed up and reset, because of Windows 10's messing up people's computers, as this had happened to quite of few of the teaching staff, this WD External Hard Drive REALLY came in handy.

This is an excellent Portable Hard drive to back up all your information. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on a ps4 because the system won't recognize anything higher than 2tb fat32 partitions

I needed this item immediately. I pre-ordered online and then went to pick it up. I did not realize this was not set up for a Mac. The clerk told me how to make a change so it was compatible/useable with a Mac computer. The price was great for the amount of storage and the fact that I needed it right away. It works fine.

I found this drive to be very quiet and fast at the right size to be easily recognized by other systems and technologies. Surprisingly fast for a non-SSD drive format.

Love using these to store all of my school documents and pictures. the last one I had this brand lasted 7 years before it crashed
