    I have an iMac computer, and I purchased this hard drive to use with my TimeMachine. I would recommend this device, but I would warn any Mac/Apple computer users that if you want to use this hard drive for your TimeMachine you will not be able to plug it and go. You will have to spend some time formatting the hard drive and it can suck up your time when do so. So keep that in mind!

    After having 2 Seagate's fail, I have been purchasing WD HD's and I have not been disappointed. Easy to setup and fast transfer speed. Do yourself a favor - even if Seagate is a few bucks cheaper, stick with WD!

    Originally purchased to be used with my PS4 but I found out the max external memory the PS4 can process is 1TB. It is currently be used as a network storage and it works great and the price was great

    Works well on USB 3.0. My 4th WD Passport (500mb, 1 Tb, 2 Tb and now 4Tb) and works like others but USB 3.0 much faster. Drive itself is 5400 Rpm.
