I like this portable hard drive. It has a lot space in it. It is very easy to use it and very secure as well. Very good quality and nice outlooks as well.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who recently bought a MacBook Pro and didn't know how to back-up her files. Although I didn't buy the edition that was pre-formatted for a Mac, it was pretty easy to do on my own (check out the Apple support site or just google formatting a drive for Mac). I partitioned the drive so half of it could be used for Time Capsule back-ups, and the other half could be used for other storage and file transfers. So far, it has worked great. I think you can buy a cheaper version if you don't want a metallic version to match your MacBook.

Needed a new hard drive to carry around for personal purposes and this one does the job while looking awesome! Got it for an excellent price too.

I love this hard drive. I store everything in it. Like my movies, tv shows, music. It's small enough to take anywhere I go and it's easy to use.

I love this drive for lots of reasons. It's compact yet has 1TB of density. But most of all I'm delighted with the accompanying software that allows me to automatically back up all of my other drives. The software does it for me and I can feel secure in knowing that all of my photos, documents, and important records are backed up in the event of a drive failure.

Picked this up to keep docs and pics on. Went with the silver for the looks. A solid good looking hard drive

A very good drive for the money. I have bought it before - many times in fact in all different shapes and sizes. I usually go with the 1TB since they are reliable and do the job, but when I go 2TB, I don't see a performance change which is very important. The encryption has always just worked for me. And I like the metal look and feel. Definitely my USB drive of choice.

This is sleek and slim. So nice to see that they are small enough not to take up much space. Also, nice to be able to hide this. Our worst thought is that we would have a break in and the thieves would steal the computer things and our family pictures would be gone forever. Now we are able to hide this with no worries!

I bought this external hard drive to use on my DVR. The internal DVR is unable to hold all the things we record when we are not home, so had to add my own. The price was good and it works great. Also, these newer 1Gig drives are so small you just can't go wrong with them for backups or extra storage of any kind.

Great little portable drive and a good price. Does the job for backups, storage, whatever. Not the fastest thing in the world, but acceptable. I use one for my backups, and I have another I keep my photo library on. Works great with a Mac, too.

Bought as gift for husband. He uses 2 laptops - 1 business, 1 business/personal, and needed to update completed documents between the two. After much research, this one came out on top. Then he said their IT guy recommended the same. Husband very impressed with speed and ease of use. Happy husband = happy wife.

Saving my pictures and videos in here was smooth and fast. I have big files of pictures and videos and I did not encounter any problems transferring them in this passport. It did not crash, unlike the other brands. If I need another external hard drive, I would definitely buy the same one again. Thanks.

I bought it for work on the go. As a photographer storage is always an issue, the portable drive can hold all the projects I'm currently editing. With the 3.0 speed I can finally work off the drive without moving folders back and forth since there is little to no difference in speed exporting files.
